Concrete, glass,
and one tree.
The building is the reason most people come the first time. The coffee is why they come back.
In My Element is a brutalist cafe: unfinished cement left exactly as it was poured, hard geometric volumes, and almost no decoration. Nothing is hidden behind a finish — the structure is the interior.
A glass roof runs the length of the main room and drops daylight onto a single tree growing through the middle of the floor. The light moves across the concrete from morning to late afternoon, so the room never looks the same twice — which is why it has become one of the most photographed cafes on the Nonthaburi side of Bangkok.

What are your opening hours?
We are open Tuesday to Sunday, 09:00–18:00, and closed every Monday. Last orders are taken about 30 minutes before closing.
Where exactly are you?
39/5 Bang Kruai–Chong Thanom Road (Soi San Chao Mae Ngu), Maha Sawat, Bang Kruai District, Nonthaburi 11130 — a short drive from Ratchaphruek Road on the western edge of Bangkok. The concrete facade is hard to miss.
Is the cafe pet friendly?
Yes. Pets are welcome on the outdoor terrace and in the cactus garden, and well-behaved pets are welcome in the indoor room too. Please keep dogs leashed and off the furniture.
Is there parking?
Yes — free on-site parking in front of and beside the cafe. Weekend afternoons are the busiest, so mornings are the easiest time to find a space.
What should I order the first time?
The banoffee. After that, the Basque burnt cheesecake and the So Matcha are the two most repeated orders.
Do you deliver?
Yes, through LINE MAN and GrabFood. For whole cakes and larger pre-orders, message us on LINE instead so we can confirm timing.
Can I work or study here?
Yes. There is free Wi-Fi and the air-conditioned indoor room is comfortable for a few hours of work — weekday mornings are the quietest.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes — cash, credit cards and PromptPay are all accepted.
